Every role in commercial insurance has a seat on this board.

Eight seats. Filled by the people who actually do the work.

Meet the board

UMG sits between insurance and communication, and the work has to hold up on both sides. The coverage has to be right. So does whether the person reading it can act on it. The people below are advisors rather than staff. Each works in their own field and brings that view to how UMG builds.

That takes more than one kind of expertise. Five seats cover the insurance chain: retail brokerage, wholesale distribution, carrier underwriting, loss control, and the working commercial broker. Three cover what happens once the insurance is right: a marketing lead on whether the story lands, a business owner on whether it matters to the person writing the check, and a product designer on whether the thing is actually usable.

The result is that no decision gets made on assumption. Every one gets tested against someone who lives that part of the deal.

The advisors.

Each product decision gets pressure-tested against the person who lives it. Walk the chain from the business owner to the finished experience.
